      About Me
I started making holsters  in 1989 after a day spent with custom gun maker
John Linebaugh in Wyoming. There was a lack of good leather to fit his large
cylindered .475 and .500 Magnum revolvers. Using John and his customers as
sounding boards, I developed a holster that was functional, good looking,
and that actually fit these, and other makers', big cylindered workhorses.
Orders came quickly and soon I was spending every evening and weekend in the
shop. Things were going well. A few years into this endeavor, I had to make
an important decision. I realized that in pursuit of my holster business, I
had relegated my family to the back burner. As a husband, and the father of
three children, I came to the conclusion that if I continued my holster
business, it would be at the expense of my family. So, I decided that
raising my children was my first and greatest responsibility. Which brings me
to the present. After a seventeen year hiatus, I am once again able to
pursue my desire to create fine leather gear for discriminating firearms
      enthusiasts.
Inspiration for my leather work has come from several sources.  From
people I know personally, and some that I only know by their work. I also
have to give credit to the many fine makers who are willing to share their
expertise on several of the internet forums.  While I try to keep my work
original, it is often impossible to build a holster that one can say is
"truly unique". The evolution of holster making has been one of refinement,
input of individual style, and improvement of  basic designs and concepts.
Roy Bakers' "pancake" is one style where this is readily apparent, as almost
every pancake or slide style holster draws its roots from this innovative
      design.
I currently work a full time job and devote the rest of my time to my
business.  Every product you receive is hand built by me. I design all my
own patterns, and cut and finish all leather by hand. I use the
very best leather available, Hermann Oak. I view each product as an extension of
myself.  No leather will leave my shop unless I'm 100 percent satisfied with
it. And my goal is your satisfaction.  I look forward to being able to help
you with your holster and accessory needs.
